Still buzzing from the October 22 launch of her debut album, “Hello My Name Is…“, “Good Luck Charlie” star Bridgit Mendler stops by What’s Trending to treat us to an acoustic performance of her hit single, “Ready or Not.”
“I’ve written songs on my own before, but creating it for an album was a totally different experience,” Bridgit tells guest host Lance Bass of N*SYNC stardom. “It was really fun!”
A self-proclaimed fan of Bridgit’s family-friendly Disney Channel show, Lance asks the actress about growing up in the spotlight, considering the range of Disney projects on her resume.
“I’ve always felt like I don’t need to make any sort of transition. I’m just always sort of doing my own thing,” Bridgit asserts. “Disney’s been very supportive with letting me do whatever it is that I’m passionate about.”
With a whole new season of “Good Luck Charlie” on the way and her own debut album out now, she’s taking her fans along for the ride.
