Production is Underway for ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Sequel ‘Through The Looking-Glass’

The new film, Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass, stars Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, and Anne Hathaway as the Mad Hatter, Alice Kingsley, the Red Queen, and the White Queen respectively (woot!). Walt Disney Studios has announced that James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted director and charming Brit), has signed on to direct the film from a screenplay by Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Danny Elfman (The Nightmare Before Christmas) is back to compose, multiple Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood will be designing what we can only imagine will be epic costumes, and Tim Burton will executive produce… The film comes to theaters May 27, 2016.
