There are a lot of movies coming up in 2016. You’ve got all your superhero blockbusters like “Batman vs Superman,” “Captain America: Civil War,” “Suicide Squad” and “Deadpool.” There are big sequels coming up for “Zoolander,” "Star Trek," “Independence Day,” “Ice Age,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Finding Nemo.” The Harry Potter universe goes to America in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” Jane Austen meets the zombie apocalypse in “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” Tina Fey’s headed to Afghanistan in “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” … It’s just a lot of movies.
Unless you’re one of those weird Screen Junkies guys, you’re not going to watch the majority of these. For many of the films, you don’t even need to go see it because all the best parts are in the trailer anyway.
If you don’t have even that much time, just watch this mashup from Burger Fiction, which combines all of the year’s big movie trailers into one enormous entertaining preview, full of fight scenes, slow-motion walking, explosions, close-ups, snappy one liners and emotional music.
You’ll either finish this video excited for all the movie magic awaiting you, or cherry-pick the one or two films you care enough about to spend money on and wait for the rest to hit Netflix.
