This video quickly compares 25 films and their remakes. The compilation includes Psycho, True Grit, Carrie, and many more. By putting up the same scene for each original/remake combination, we can see how the remakes took on iconic moments. It’s interesting to see if the remake followed the scene exactly, or if they went another direction with it.
Since film remakes are always compared with their originals critically, this is an interesting way to see it visually. It also makes you realize how many films have (often unnecessary) remakes!
