  • In case you haven’t heard, Disney has a new island princess movie coming out soon. Annnnnnndddd all the music is by Lin-Manuel Miranda! You might remember him from that thing called Hamilton?

Anyways, the new movie is called Moana — check out the trailer if you haven’t already — and the titular island princess Moana goes on a journey through the South Pacific world of Oceania with the help of Maui. Who is Maui, you ask? He is a demigod voiced by no one other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson himself. You’re welcome.

  • Speaking of “You’re Welcome”, that’s the name of the song that The Rock is singing. Did I mention Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote it?

  • Moana is looking extra fabulous, and full of dancing singing Disney princess wonder. Johnson was pretty excited about his chance to sing with LMM.

He captioned an Instagram story (transcribed by E! News) with the following:

“We just doin’ a little sanging over here or as we say in the streets, ‘I’m spittin’ that fire bruh!’ A blast collaborating with the musical genius himself and my Puerto Rican twin Lin-Manuel Miranda. Too much fun!”
