The official trailer for the sci-fi film, Prometheus, was unveiled yesterday at WonderCon 2012 in Anaheim, Calif.Blade Runner director and sci-fi pioneer, Ridley Scott, directs the prequel to his own groundbreaking film, Alien. Set in 2085, the film follows the crew members of the spaceship, “Prometheus,” as they attempt to decipher a unique mythology and uncover the origins of humanity. When they discover an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers, they find themselves in the midst of a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
Slated to be released on June 8, 2012, the film stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce, and Idris Elba.
