Rock legend Brian Johnson announced yesterday on his website, Brian Johnson Racing, that his show Cars That Rock, won’t be having new episodes anytime soon. “We hope to bring you more shows in the near future but, of course, there is the slight distraction of my day job with AC/DC – and it looks very likely that we will be on the road again before the end of the year.”
This will be AC/DC’s first tour since their 2008 Black Ice tour. There is no word on whether or not a new album will be released before the tour, but one thing is for sure, and that’s that you can expect to hear the classic rock songs that landed the rock band a spot in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
Unfortunately founding member Malcolm Young will not be joining the tour, per his April announcement that he would be stepping down from the band due to ill health. But the legion of fans of this legendary rock band will be sure to sell out the place during every stop.
