  • The Internet has loved its occasional stories about The Pizza Underground, the pizza-themed, Velvet Underground cover band that features Macauley Culkin.

Today, however, might be the biggest day in PU history, with the release of their first music video, courtesy of Vice. It’s a medley of Velvet Underground/Lou Reed tunes — “All Tomorrow’s Parties,” “Femme Fatale” and “Walk on the Wild Side” — with several key words changed to “cheese” and “pizza.”

What else should we read into this band’s existence? Nothing much. It is what it is. A Velvet Underground cover band about pizza. Say no more.
