Check out this completely enthralling performance of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” by professional shakuhachi (bamboo flute) player, Yoshimi Tsujimoto and two koto players. They add a traditional Japanese twist on Jackson’s hit song, and it’s totally awesome. We think it adds a bit of cinematic intensity to the song. Also, the plucking technique of the koto players makes it so you can’t stop watching this video. We can’t wait to see if Yoshimi puts out more covers!
