  • Today Coldplay released the video for their second single “Hymn For The Weekend” (HFTW) featuring Beyonce. The single is from their new album, A Head Full Of Dreams, which was released last December.

  • The video, shot in Mumbai, shows the band exploring the city, running with children, and performing in front of a small but excited crowd. It also shows the band participating in Holi, a Hindu religious festival also known as the festival of colors. In the video children throw colored powder on Chris Martin and the rest of the guys.

  • While the beautiful landscapes of India may be the true star, the video doesn’t let you forget that Beyonce is as beautiful and amazing as ever. HFTW shows the 34 year old superstar on billboards and movie screens, as Mumbai’s biggest star.

The video comes just about a week before Coldplay’s halftime performance at Super Bowl 50 on February 7th. The video only fuels the rumors of Beyonce joining the band during the halftime show. Whether we’re surprised or not, a Queen B cameo at the Super Bowl would only bring us joy.
