What a pairing of vocals.

  • CHVRCHES has been steadily gaining a strong and loyal fanbase for years with their synthpop sound and thoughtful lyrics. After remixing a song off their latest album to include additional vocals from Paramore front woman Hayley Williams, that popularity is only set to grow.

The song itself, “Bury It,” has been around since the start of the summer in its remixed form (the original came out on their album in 2015), but today, the group released a new animated music video for it. It features cartoon versions of Williams, CHVRCHES singer Lauren Mayberry, and the other two members of CHVRCHES, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty.

The video isn’t revolutionary, but it’s enjoyable, and serves the song. And hopefully will bring some Paramore fans into the CHVRCHES fold.

What do you think of the new video? The song? Let us know in the comments or over on Twitter @WhatsTrending.
