Michael J. Fox Played ‘Johnny B. Goode’ and ‘Earth Angel’ With Coldplay And It’s The Greatest Thing Ever

Sometimes the world serves up nostalgia in the best way possible!

And I’m not talking about bad movie remakes either (looking at you Ninja Turtles), I’m talking about feel good nostalgia brought to you by the unprecedented. This weekend, Michael J. Fox took to the stage with Coldplay and basically recreated the scene from ‘Back to the Future’ where he played both ‘Johnny B. Goode’ and ‘Earth Angel’.

It was surreal for fans and even for Fox, who hopped on Twitter and thanked the band for letting him have a little fun:

We hope that somewhere in the audience there was a couple kissing to ‘Earth Angel’ for the first time, and that they will get married and have themselves a time-travelling teen. That would make this perfect.
