  • To promote the 50th annual CMA (Country Music Association) Awards, the association has put out a video featuring stars of the past and the present singing together a mashup of three of the most memorable country songs. (If this seems eerily familiar, it’s because this is our second “tons of celebrities team up” post today, after Joss Whedon’s star-packed voting PSA, and our second Dolly Parton post of the week.)

The mashup includes the songs “On the Road Again” by Willie Nelson, “I Will Always Love You” by Dolly Parton, and “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver. As for which stars appear in the video, there’s a whole freakin’ lot. Check out the list below and see if your favorite star made the cut!

Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Brett Eldredge, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Alabama, Darius Rucker, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Ronnie Milsap, Charley Pride, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Rascall Flatts, Brooks & Dunn, and Trisha Yearwood.

The video can be quite beautiful, and it ends with a knowing glance to the camera from one of the greatest country artists ever in Dolly Parton. The three songs work quite well together, and it creates a lasting impression. Then again, the video is directed Joseph Kahn, Taylor Swift’s director of choice — the man behind the “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood” music videos, so this is what he does best.
