  • The artistic and experimental Solange Knowles dropped an album this weekend that exceeded all our expectations. Her older sister Beyoncé has had quite a year in music video history, so it's no surprise that Solange brought her A-game with her new release. Peppered with tear-jerkers and thought-provoking spoken word, this track list gave us some feelings.

  • Titled A Seat at the Table, Solange's new album features 90's vibes, soulful lyrics, and calls for self care. Her third studio album comes after her older sister (and Queen of the Universe) Beyoncé Knowles dropped "Lemonade" earlier this year, the visual album that broke the Internet. A Seat at the Table is a deeply personal album describing her experience as a black woman, and indeed what it means to be Solange.
