  • The American Music Awards were last night, and Green Day had quite an explosive performance.

The punk band played their single "Bang Bang" from their new album Revolution Radio, and spiced up the song with a surprise cover of an Austin, TX band called MDC. They inserted an anti-Trump chant ("No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!") to their performance and received a lot of applause in return. The pop crowd didn't know what hit them, but Twitter sure does. Check it out.

  • Here's a clip of the chant from Rolling Stone.

  • So President-Elect Donald Trump has yet to release a statement on Green Day's stunt, but assuming he doesn't approve, here's proof of a time when he LOVED Green Day...aka 2010.

  • AND Melania liked it!
