  • Look man, no one ever said being a bigoted kleptocrat was going to be easy. Trump’s inauguration is now famous for its unpopularity — unprecedented for an event of this kind. The acts which have rejected it, ranging from Garth Brooks, Elton John, Amy Schumer and even Kiss, and now another pull out has occurred. The B-Street Band, a Bruce Springsteen cover band, is no longer playing at the Trump inauguration, citing a respect for Bruce Springsteen as the core of it.

So look. Trump’s presidential inauguration can’t even book a cover band. In fact, Jezebel is reporting scalper can’t even sell tickets to the darn thing! So who is playing the Trump event?

It looks like we got America’s Got Talent finalist Jackie Evancho, 3 Doors Down and Toby Keith who seems to have defended his decision via mass ambivalence, saying “I performed at events for previous presidents Bush and Obama and over 200 shows in Iraq and Afghanistan and for the USO.” So even Toby Keith is trying to pass this event off as nothing special.

And although Trump claims this inauguration doesn’t need celebrities, it really does seem like things are not going according to plan.
