Lady Gaga Slays In Halftime Super Bowl Show

Lady Gaga brought it on Sunday's Super Bowl game with a mix of standards and her glorious hits.

  • It was a unique and glamorous performance from Lady Gaga, the star singer behind Poker Face, and how could it not be? We knew two things about the performance — it would be solo, and the pop sensation has promised that she will not be saying anything political during the Super Bowl, and in a sense she subtly broke both promises, but to a delightful effect.

The first thing sung was "This Land Is Your Land", decked out in a glorious silver futuristic ensemble.

  • She the proceeded to sing her hits, and in one particularly adorable moment, shouted out to her mom and dad. Delightful. Thank you Gaga.

  • She then proceeded to close out the performance with a mind melting performance of Poker Face, and ended the show with a glorious stage dive, showing Gaga, a queer icon with artistic sensibilities can bring the splashy showcase moves even during a football game.
