  • Love is key, according to DJ Khaled, who got booed off stage at the Electric Daisy Music Festival in Vegas this weekend. After a disastrous set that lasted for less than 20 minutes even though he was scheduled to perform for an hour, festival goers were not happy and booed the DJ off stage. Chanting for Yellow Claw, the next DJ set to perform to take over, the crowd was over watching Khaled stand on stage with no sound playing.

Khaled, who is no stranger to social media, was not only booed off stage, but trolled on Twitter too:

  • “THEY couldnot[sic] get the sound right on my set and I stood on stage wit no sound and when they got the sound to work they want cut my set short but I still rep for my people anyone else would walk off stage,” he said on Instagram about the “technical difficulties” that caused his set to end early. At the show, the DJ said to the crowd, “they want to cut my shit… but this is California,” which prompted them to boo even louder since Vegas is in fact, not in California.

What do you guys think? Was DJ Khaled’s set really cut short due to technical difficulties? Let us know in the comments or at @whatstrending on Twitter!
