Variety has the key points on the arrest...
On Thursday night, the 28 year-old actor was arrested at the Broadway musical “Cabaret” in New York for drunken behavior.
According to police, the “Transformers” star was smoking inside the Studio 54 theater and acting “loud and disruptive” during the first act of the Tony-nominated musical, which stars Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming. Law enforcement officials were notified and handcuffed the actor during intermission, escorting him out of the venue.
He was formally charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing in a Manhattan court on Friday before being released.
According to Scene Magazine's Peter Davis, LeBeouf called one officer a homophobic slur.
He called one officer "a fag" and yelled: “I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys. I’m going to ruin your career.” What can he do to save his own career?
Page Six corroborates the claim...
Troublemaking actor Shia LaBeouf went berserk in the audience at the Broadway musical “Cabaret” Thursday night and was hauled off in handcuffs to a station house — where he told cops, “I’ll f–k you up,” called an officer a “f-g,” and was muzzled with a face mask for spitting, sources said.
USA Today has a great timeline of Lebeouf's bizarre behavior.
