A Frontier Airlines pilot treated his 160 passengers to Domino’s pizza on Monday, June 7 when their flight to Denver, Colo. was diverted to Cheyenne, Wyo., where the plane was stuck.
Andrew Ritchie told The Associated Press that when he got the call at 10 p.m. Monday night, he had his crew get back to work. Luckily, his crew’s response to the situation was an enthusiastic one.“Actually, they were super excited. They had a blast. It was a challenge,” he went on to tell AP. “It was definitely one of those ‘challenge accepted’ moments in time.”
The plane left shortly after the pizzas arrived.
Good things usually come in threes, right? Well, here’s to hoping more good luck went their way upon arrival in Denver.
