The iPhone 6 Screen… Is It Indestructible?

So, if you’ve looked into the new iPhone at all, you probably know that Apple has plans of releasing a much bigger iPhone than we’re use to. Well, Marques Brownlee got his hands on the official front panel of the new iPhone and the size isn’t the only change coming to the new iPhone.

While the outgoing iPhone 5S sported a layer of sapphire crystal over the camera and the fingerprint scanner, the incoming iPhone will have sapphire crystal for its entire front panel. What’s so cool about the sapphire crystal screen? Well, it was used over the camera and fingerprint scanner of the outgoing 5S due its brilliant clarity. In this video Marques even put the panel over the lens of his camera to show us just how clear it is. When he did, there was absolutely no change in color, and no distortion of the image.

Marques also showed us the extreme durability of the material. When we say durable, we mean DURABLE. As in stabbing it with a knife, and bending it under his shoe durable.
