Tornado in South Los Angeles - December 12th, 2014
Over the weekend, California had one of its biggest storms in a long time. The storm started in the Bay Area and traveled south, and it looks like a small tornado touched down in South Central LA. Tornados are not something we see here...ever. We in fact see so little tornados that a few years back, when there was a rumored tornado watch in Huntington Beach - people actually went out to go see it in person.
Luckily, it doesn't look like any irreparable damage was done. That and Los Angeles banked over a billion gallons of water throughout the storm, which will definitely help the city given the fact that we're in a huge drought.
