No mother wants to see her two sons fighting, especially on C-SPAN in front of literally dozens of people.
Brothers Brad and Dallas Woodhouse were arguing about bipartisanship on Washington Journal, when host Steve Scully accepted a call from Joy from North Carolina. It turns out that Joy is the mother of the brothers Woodhouse, and wanted to let them know that the arguing they were doing on television would be unacceptable come Christmas.
“I don’t know many families that are fighting at Thanksgiving,” Joy said, apparently unfamiliar with all families. She pleaded with her boys to get the fighting “out of [their] system” so that she could have a peaceful Christmas.
