This is what happens - you let gay people marry and the next thing you know we've got "Relentlessly Gay" front yards hitting on everybody else's yards.
In one of my favorite crowdfunding stories ever, Baltimore resident Julie Baker has launched a GoFundMe campaign to make her garden EVEN MORE GAY after an angry neighbor left her a note telling her to tone it down.
"Your yard is becoming Relentlessly Gay!" the note said, referring to a tasteful row of rainbow-colored, solar-powered jar lamps Baker had hung in the garden. "Myself and Others in the neighborhood ask that you Tone it Down. This is a Christian area and there are Children. Keep it up and I will be forced to call the police on You! Your kind need to have Respect for GOD."
The note was signed, "A Concerned Homeowner".
Baker, who is a widow and a mother of four, has now decided to see just how gay her yard can get. She launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $5,000 for the project.
"Needless to say... I need more rainbows... Many, many more rainbows," she says. "If we go high enough, I will see if I can get a Rainbow Roof! Because my invisible relentlessly gay rainbow dragon should live up there in style!"
At the time of writing, Baker had raised more than $32,000, so you can bet that her home is going to get pretty darn gay in the near future. She has also been asked to make a tutorial on how to make solar light jar lamps, so other people's yards can be gay too.
