A rare, beautiful white humpback whale has been sighted off the coast of Queensland - which doubtless means some Captain Ahab wannabe wants to kill it. (We’ve got our eye on you, dentists.)
Whale watchers in Australia are collectively freaking out and wondering if this is the famous Migaloo (Aboriginal for “white fella”), a whale sighted in 1991 that, at the time, was the only confirmed living white humpback. But experts are saying this is at best one of Migaloo’s offspring.
Migaloo the Whale, of course, has his own Twitter account that’s keeping track of the current news coverage.
