  • The so-called “Affluenza” teen, Ethan Couch, has been arrested in Mexico after skipping out on his probation.

Couch plead guilty to the deaths of four people and the serious injury of two others utilizing the controversial defense of “affluenza,” claiming he was so rich he could not possibly know the difference of right from wrong. The defense was accepted and the teen was given probation for the incident.

A video surfaced of Couch playing beer pong, which was a violation of his probation. The teen promptly disappeared with his mother Tonya, and altered his appearance, dying his hair black.

At least they went on the run in style, though – it’s being reported that Couch and his mother threw a goodbye party before they fled for the border. Over the weekend, they were located in Puerto Vallarta – a popular beach resort town – and arrested.

No word on whether or not his mother will be arrested as well, but we’re all interested to see which defense he plans on using this time.

Couch has been one of the most unlikeable people in the news for a while now, so you can imagine the internet’s reaction this morning:
