Drunk Doctor Wrecks Uber Driver’s Car – And Maybe Her Career

Heaven help you if you get stupid drunk and embarrass yourself in public, and the internet finds out about it.

When an Uber driver in Miami went to pick up his customers, he was surprised by a random drunk woman jumping into the back of his car. When the driver told her to get out and refused to take her anywhere, she started brawling with him – and the whole thing was caught on video and uploaded to the internet. YouTube user JuanCinco explains in the description:

We told the driver it was ok, to just cancel our ride, but he did not want to take her anywhere so he kept telling her to get out. Eventually the driver gets out and says he’s calling the cops to get her out of the car. After a couple of minutes of the driver pretending to talk to the cops (im assuming he was pretending because they never showed up at first), the girl decides to reach into the front seat, grab his keys, and start walking away with his keys in her hands.

It got really messy after that, with the woman kicking and hitting the driver, flinging papers and other items out of his car and causing a huge scene. At one point he did shove her to the ground, but only because she was trying to knee him in the groin.

Police eventually arrived, but the Uber driver decided not to press charges because she started crying and said she was sorry and she would lose her medical license if she got arrested.

But the incident may have wrecked her life anyway, because the video went viral and the internet quickly figured out who she was – Dr. Anjali Ramkisoon, a neurology resident at Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami. She was put on administrative leave effective immediately and faces an internal investigation which could result in her being fired. In the meantime her Uber account has been cancelled.
