Kid Goes Out in a Blizzard to Get Hand Lotion

There’s a news story about a young boy who went out in the blizzard to buy some hand lotion to reward himself for doing well on a test, and oh my god, Reddit, get your head out of the gutter.

What’s Trending would never stoop to such crude innuendo, I mean how dare you.

During the recent winter storm in Manhattan, CBS 2 New York’s Lou Young stood at the corner of 86th and Lexington in Manhattan, reporting on how people were dealing with the snow.

He talked to one father and his son who were trying to get some shopping done before the stores closed, because the boy wanted a bottle of hand lotion from L’Occitane. He’d received a good grade on a test, his dad explained, and asked for the lotion as a gift.

“So, let me ask you,” Young said, “you got good marks, so you wanted hand lotion? I guess because it’s cold, right?”

Reddit, of course, was inspired to have a lengthy debate about masturbation, lotion and lube – though a few pointed out that the lotion from L’Occitane is pretty expensive, so why would the kid be wasting it? Maybe he has fabulous taste and wants to keep his hands moisturized in harsh winter weather.
