Twitter Just Gave 280 Characters To Everyone, Even YOU

  • You may find yourself online feeling more verbose, finding yourself more expressive than ever, finding your abilities to speak the words before you at a level that before you would not be able to accomplish. Your use of characters online — once a mere 140, now a healthy and robust 280. Why is this you ask? Well my friends, after an initial rollout, testing the greater character limit on a populace smaller in scope, the grand roll out has begun at long last. As you can see from this very entry, I too have become a being of culture, of further eloquence due to my use of the greater 280 character count.

    Here are some Tweets delighted with the increase in character size, and some would say, degree of thoughtfulness as permitted by such an allowance. Some are concerned by it, as is their absolute want, and some are troubled that the 280 count has them not yet reached. Well, worry not friends. The great Twitter count is coming.
