  • Is Trump too mentally unfit to be president? Well, normally I would answer with a series of snarky eyebrow waggles and mean spirited jokes often highlighted with goofy hyperlinks about the time he got spanked with a magazine or whatever — but the latest video from Vox explores the complexities of that question and shockingly enough — my inexperienced non-psychologically based dumb statements do a lot more damage than they do good! Who would have thunk it?

The video explores the team of psychologists who work hard to make sure the public has an accurate reading on Trump’s psychological state (it’s not good, folks) and why it’s so controversial for mental health professionals to weigh in on these kinds of things after Barry Goldwater successfully sued Fact Magazine after they got over a thousand psychologists to weigh in on his emotional health of fascist Republican candidate Barry Goldwater. The Goldwater rule states that psychiatrists cannot publicly comment on the psychological health of a public figure without an examination. The psychiatrists currently commenting on Trump’s mental health are doing so from what he has done publicly.

They also comment on how damaging it is when normal pundits do so — showing pundits going off a gut feeling about Trump, but then say the same things about Barack Obama, an overall very healthy seeming man. It is all VERY interesting. Watch it above and tell us what you think in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
