Rebecca Black has matured from the “Friday” days and is now onto the next stage in her life.
“Friday wasn’t something intentional to make me famous,” she told us. “I’m never going to shut it down because without that song, I wouldn’t be here.”
She is still in public high school and throughout the year it’s crazy, so she’s dedicated the summer to recording and writing.
“I have so much material that has been written and recorded and is either not done or not done the way I want it to be, but this summer I’m finally going to get it out the way I want it to be.”
