It’s been a few weeks since the Season 2 finale of “Orphan Black.”
BBC General Manager, Percy Simon, has confirmed that “Orphan Black” will be back for a third season during its Television Critics Association press tour panel on Wednesday. Production is set to begin this September for a 2015 debut.
The highly lauded clone drama became what “Hollywood Reporter” calls a “crucial benchmark for the cable network.”
Since its March 2013 premiere, the show has received immense praise from its viewers. According to BBC America, “The show is the first ever ad-supported drama series to double its ratings from season one to season two in A25-54 and 18-49 in Live+7.”
