The Vine Famous Compilation: King Bach
Andrew Bachelor, the 26-year-old aspiring actor, comedian, director, producer and writer is the jack-of-all-trades and is Vine's one and only King Bach. We've caught up with him before, but he just keeps blowing us away that we can't stop featuring him on What's Trending!
Bach has branched out since his early days of parkour-based Vines. Today, he has 7.6 million followers watching his Vine sketches. "Andrew Bachelor aka 'King Bach' was born in Toronto, Canada but grew up in Florida where he attended Coral Springs Charter for both Middle and High School. Andrew's love for sports took him to Florida State University where he consistently ranked among the top 15 High Jumpers in NCAA and had a personal best jump of 7 feet 2.5 inches," his official site detailed. "He graduated from FSU college of Business in 2010 with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Business Management and later moved to California to pursue his career in acting and filmaking. While in Los Angeles, he enrolled in the graduate program at New York Film Academy and took courses at The Groundlings."
ALWAYS save the J's.
His time at the Academy did not last long, however, and eventually he decided to make his own way. Friend and fellow Viner Brittany Furlan introduced him to Vine and thus his journey began.
“With Vine, I started doing it, and my first Vines sucked—they were horrible—but I started studying and seeing which Vines got the most likes, and what people liked to see and laugh in, and I took that and put my own unique spin on it,” Bachelor told The Daily Beast. “The results started to happen, and now I’ve almost mastered the structure of what people like to look at on Vine.”

Bachelor has seen success in YouTube and television as well. His stardom led to him signing with UTA, and landing a recurring role in House of Lies. Bachelor has also become a main cast member on the sixth season of Wild 'N Out on MTV2. Despite this, Bachelor turns down most requests to upload sponsored Vines. Bachelor's commercialism comes in a different form: entrepreneurship.
Pilots always go down with their plane...
"Andrew's ambitious desire led him to establish his production company, Bach Enterprises, producing, directing and performing in several projects including his short film, Agent Steele which was featured on NBC's Dateline in September 2011," his site reported. "Andrew has appeared on shows such as Burn Notice and My Pyramind and currently has a recurring role on Showtime's House Of Lies and MTV's Wild 'N' Out with Nick Cannon. In addition he is filming a series for the Adult Swim Channel."
Pay ALL of what you owe.
However, Bachelor does not allow the fame to erase his roots. Bachelor was born to Jamaican parents, both of whom are accountants. They taught Bachelor how to give back and, with Bachelor's increasing fame, he has been able to do just that. After the deaths of his grandparents -- less than a year apart from each other -- Andrew and his sister embarked on a mission to establish the RuJohn Foundation in their honor.
You can't catch me. #Oohaburger
It seems this king is using his power for good. Cheers to King Bach and cheers to staying down to earth amidst the glamor of fame.
