Disney and director Brad Bird haven’t released much information on the 2015 summer sci-fi film “Tomorrowland.” What we do know is that inventor Frank Walker (George Clooney) and his young friend Casey (Britt Robertson) travel to an alternate realm called Tomorrowland. Also, it was once named “1952,” suggesting that perhaps – like in the Disney theme parks – this Tomorrowland is based on a historical vision of what the future might hold.

The first teaser clip doesn’t introduce a ton of new information. We see Casey getting released from jail (or maybe juvie?) and receiving a pin that doesn’t belong to her. She realizes, just by touching the pin, she is transported suddenly to a sprawling wheat field, with a giant futuristic-looking city in the distance. We also get a brief look at Clooney’s Frank, and a VERY brief look at the Tomorrowland cityscape itself.

The film opens May 22, 2015, in theaters everywhere. It also stars Judy Greer, Hugh Laurie, Kathryn Hahn and Keegan-Michael Key.
