Gatorade is 50 years old, and the company wants to celebrate i.e. remind you that you aren't purchasing enough Gatorade.
They're pulling out the big guns with arguably their most memorable advertising campaign: Be Like Mike. The commercials first appeared in August 1991 and, much like today's Nationwide jingle, is ubiquitous in the TV-watching public's consciousness from the first few notes.
The spot will air on television during this weekend's NBA All-Star broadcasts.
