  • A lot of people are showing support for Colin Kaepernick, and the rest of the NFL players who have decided to kneel during the national anthem in light of the police abuses of the African American community. The hashtag #TakeAKnee was used on Twitter to show solidarity with the cause, and many celebrities have like wise used it. Stevie Wonder took a knee during a concert, and now Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, stars of The X-Files, have taken a knee to show their support for this very worthwhile cause.

The photo was Tweeted from Gillian Anderson’s Twitter account — and shows Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny kneeling and looking somber — showing they too support the progressive cause.

Speaking in a general sense — it’s also really crazy how popular this has become after Colin Kaepernick became a pariah amongst people drafting teams for his initial protest. Now it’s downright mainstream and Colin Kaepernick is still not on a team despite his skill — a ridiculous oversight that should be quickly corrected.
