David S. Pumpkins Animated Special About to Exist and I Don’t Know Why

Folks, the presence of the internet has negated the existence of my favorite thing in the world of pop culture — the garbage product that has no reason to exist yet nevertheless does. No more of animated series based on movies much more intense than they have any right to be, no more garbage action figures and board games made to create a super quick cash in. With constant fan interaction with pop culture, there’s no need to make a weird unpolished product… until now. Ladies and gentleman, welcome — the David S. Pumpkins Animated Special! Any questions!?

Yes folks, like so many SNL characters before him, David S. Pumpkins is about to enter the market of the needless animated special — set to premiere on October 28th at 11:30pm on NBC. Tom Hanks is all set to reprise his role of David S. Pumpkins — and Bobby Moynihan and Mikey Day are all set to reprise their roles of Skeleton and Fat Skeleton. Peter Dinklage will do a voice in the special too. The cartoon will be written by its creators — Moynihan, Day and Street Seidell and folks, I will watch it and laugh and clap. AND I ASK AGAIN.
