Taylor Swift Releases Cyber Punk Music Video for "...Ready For It?"

The video seems to be influenced by Star Wars: Episode VII, Ghost in the Shell and Ex Machina and is... lovely.

  • Taylor Swift released another hyper bizzare music video, following on the heels of her burn-o-rama, “Look What You Made Me Do”, comes another cool stylistic feast for the eyes, her music video for the song of her new album Reputation — “…Ready For It”. “…Ready For It” seems to be inspired by a variety of cool things — including Ghost in the Shell, Star Wars’ Kylo Ren, and what must have been hours and hours and hours of watching weird 80’s cyperpunk stuff.

The video seems to involve one T. Swift (evil) meeting a T. Swift (good) as they gaze at one another from across a glass cage (which kind of reminded me of Ex Machina, the Oscar Isaac movie). Although to some, there was one obvious influence on the whole kit and kaboodle.
