Twitter User Shows Special Effects Without CGI

The real question surrounding these photos of actors interacting with special effect elements is how did anyone keep a straight face while doing this? Man, these actors must be incredible — if Kristen Stewart could pet Taylor Lautner’s head and pretend it was a wolf, then she can really do anything.

The tweets are incredible. We already knew that the Beast from Beauty and the Beast was a man in a massive bulky suit, but I didn’t know Rocket Raccoon was a straight up dude in a costume! Or that this gorgeous shot of 1920’s New York was actually a CG set. Even a set taking place on a dock was done in CGI! And those green screen Alice in Wonderland characters seem even weirder than what Tim Burton finally put on the screen. Check out some of our favorites below.
