In these tumultuous Trump laden times, SNL has pulled out all the stops when it comes to celebrity casting. We've had John Goodman play Rex Tillerson, Melissa McCarthy play the departed Sean Spicer, Alec Baldwin, of course, playing the weirdly similar to his own personality Donald Trump, and today we got a new famous pairing thrilling our comedy laugh holes as the country goes to a weirder and weirder place — Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller. The premise? Robert De Niro, playing Robert Mueller, grills Ben Stiller playing Michael Cohen — Trump's lawyer who has been, the target of a recent FBI investigation about what he knows in a scene reminiscent of the now classic interrogation scene from 2000's "Meet the Parents."
Is "Meet the Parents" really 18 years old now? Old enough to vote? Look out, Donald Trump! Young people like the movie "Meet the Parents" are going to vote you out of office, buddy. Do you hear me? "Meet the Parents" is part of the new generation and will get you out of there!
Anyway, what did you think of Robert De Niro's Robert Mueller? Did you like it more or less than Kate McKinnon's? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
