Tiny Steph Curry Stars in This Old Burger King Commercial

Looks like the secret to becoming a great basketball player is lots of Chicken Fries.

  • For Throwback Thursday, check out this 90s Burger King commercial starring former Hornets basketball player Dell Curry and his adorable son, who you may have heard of.

    The little boy tells his dad he wants to be a basketball player, and asks for advice on how to become big and strong. “What’s it take to be a great basketball player like you?” he asks.

    “You really gotta want it. You gotta taste it - you gotta be able to smell it. I mean, you really gotta be hungry for it.”

    “Dad, can we go to Burger King?” the boy asks. “I am really hungry.”

    And it looks like all that BK must have worked, because the kid grew up to be Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry, arguably the greatest shooter in NBA history. You know, the guy who can do this during a warmup while nursing an injured leg:
