  • It’s always fun to watch a person who doesn’t obsessively watch YouTube the way we do try to understand YouTube culture and what the point of the whole thing is.

During her appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, Kristen Stewart was introduced to the Whisper Challenge – that thing where you and a friend take turns wearing noise-canceling headphones while the other person reads a phrase for their friend to guess by lip-reading.

Stewart was a good sport and tried really hard, but she seemed to find the whole thing weirdly frustrating. Trying to figure out “Say hello to my little friend,” she squinted in confusion and said, “Close the door to the roof? Tell those motherfuckers…? Take my bathroom to the friend? What the fuck?”

She then pretended to sulk because she doesn’t like losing and said “I’m not having fun,” which people will take as further proof that she’s an emotionless person who never smiles.

Jimmy Fallon did better with “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” and acted like he scored a touchdown, and Stewart eventually figured out “Kung Fu Panda” after guessing “call the fruit back.”

“All right, all right, all right” kind of threw her and she resorted to playing charades, and earned herself a scolding from E! Online for not getting the Matthew McConaughey reference – another thing that only internet-obsessed people know off the top of their heads.
