Apparently it’s Kanye’s mission to stir up as much controversy as possible, which is REALLY INCONVENIENT, KANYE.
Fresh off his Twitter declaration that Bill Cosby is innocent, the rapper has started another firestorm by using his latest album to insult Taylor Swift and say she owes him sex or something.
Just when we thought the whole “I’mma let you finish” beef was over between them and they were friends at last. Sigh.
In case you missed it, Kanye played his seventh album “The Life of Pablo,” formerly “Waves,” formerly “Swish” at the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show at Madison Square Garden. The event was also screened at movie theaters and on Tidal, who claim that 20 million people were logged in to see it.
All of which is now buried in the social media controversy about his track “Famous,” in which Kanye declares: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous."
A spokeswoman for Taylor says that Kanye called Taylor and asked if she would debut the song on her Twitter, but she said no and warned him that the message in the song was misogynistic. She says she didn’t know anything about the insulting lyric.
But Kanye went on another one of his Twitter rants and insisted he had Taylor’s blessing - in fact, he says the whole thing was her idea.
How many more times are you going to break the internet over stupid shit, Kanye and Taylor? We got stuff to do over here.
