  • Shia LaBeouf, Rönkkö, and Turner are livestreaming conversations with students at Oxford University as part of an extended 24 hour talk!

According to the video description, “the trio will be occupying the elevator at EC English Oxford in Gloucester Green (OX1 2BT), from 9am on 19th February until 9am on 20th February.”

The talk is entitled #Elevate, and is one of the first interactive pieces LaBeouf has done in which he actually frankly speaks with others. Previous live performances such as #iamsorry, and #allmymovies, LaBeouf was present but did not interact with other attendees.

According to the livestream, LaBeouf has stated multiple times regarding the choice to have his Oxford Union talk in this manner. It was in order to make it more “egalitarian” and open up the talk to everyone instead of the select few who manage to command the floor.

The video only shows the elevator doors, but just listening to the ongoing conversations is pretty awesome!
