I don’t know about you guys, but when I go on the internet I’m absolutely convinced that everybody looks exactly the way they appear in their Instagram pictures at all times, nothing is edited or Photoshopped, and everybody came up with their hilarious Twitter jokes all by themselves.
So when Buzzfeed revealed that Khloe Kardashian might have lifted some of her comedic gems word-for-word from Yahoo Answers, nothing made sense anymore and I had to go cry for an hour. What is wrong with the world when you can’t trust a Kardashian’s Twitter account???
(I think I might be writing about the Kardashians a bit too much lately and it’s starting to get to me.)
The crack investigative team of Samir Mezrahi and Rachel Zarrell did some digging and discovered that many of Khloe’s recent jokes, like “Do siamese twins pay for one ticket or two tickets when they go to movies and concerts?”, seem to have been copied and pasted from snarky Yahoo Answers submissions.
Khloe (if she even runs her own Twitter account and that’s even her real name) seems to have tried to cover her tracks by stealing jokes from several years ago, but that’s not enough to foil some skilled Yahoo searching. Great work, Buzzfeed.
Actually my favorite thing about the article is that the URL is www.buzzfeed.com/samir/khlooooooeeeeeeeeee, which makes me think Mezrahi might be suffering the same Kardashian exhaustion I am.
