You can disguise anything with chocolate.

  • There’s a reason you shouldn’t just blindly do whatever someone tells you to do. And sometimes, that reason is that you may be eating crickets.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews sat down with some of the Buzzfeed video staff under the guise of getting them to taste test a new protein shake he wanted to put out on the market. Of course, it was all just a ruse — he has no upcoming protein shake with his name on it, but he did have a couple shakes filled with ground up crickets.

The initial reactions from the staffers were pretty positive. Some said it tasted like chocolate, others said they weren’t mad at it. But nobody (that we saw, at least) straight up hated it. Until a tray was brought out revealing what the true ingredients were. Yuck.

Have you eaten crickets before? What do they taste like? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter @WhatsTrending.
