  • Pop sensation Kesha, real name Kesha Rose Sebert, began her F*ck The World tour this week in Brooklyn, New York. Kesha is currently legally barred from releasing any “new” music, but that didn’t stop her from performing renditions of her hit songs and covers including “Jolene” and “You Don’t Own Me” at The Warsaw. She performed under the name Kesha and the Creepies, because copyright.

As you may recall, Kesha recently lost a very public legal battle with her former producer, Lukas “Dr. Luke” Gottwald.

In response, fans and fellow artists mounted the Free Kesha campaign. This week, her super loyal fans started a “F*ck Dr. Luke” chant at the show, and Kesha started crying (tears of joy). On a more positive note, they also chanted “Free Kesha”, as you can see in the Twitter video above.

According to Jezebel, Kesha told her fans, “Anything outside of these four walls doesn’t matter tonight. I’m talking about rent. I’m talking about homework. I’m talking about your sh*tty ex-boyfriend. I’m talking about my lawsuit. F*ck that!”

Kesha and her fans took to Twitter to celebrate the performance:

  • Her tour just kicked off, so look out for it near you. You should also probably make that a priority, because Noisey wrote this about it.
