Fox 4 Reporter Confronts His Identity Thief

When FOX 4 consumer reporter Steve Noviello’s identity was stolen, he saw his chance to do some badass investigative journalism ending with Noviello confronting the criminal on camera.

Have I mentioned that I absolutely love quirky local news coverage? Because I love it.

 

The Dallas/Ft Worth reporter discovered that a woman named Farah Parks had stolen his Visa card and used it to check in to a Hilton Garden Inn in North Texas.

He reported her to police, but a good journalist doesn’t stop there – he also turned up to the hotel with his iPhone, confronted Parks and asked her hard-hitting questions as she was being arrested.

“You picked the wrong guy,” he tells her. Damn right she did.

Parks said: “I’ve just made some bad choices in my life. I’m aware of that and I apologize.”  She refused a request for a post-arrest jailhouse interview, however.
