A grad student and former boxer in Japan named Ikki Kotsugai found out his wife was cheating on him with a lawyer from her office. So, naturally, he went to the guy’s law office in Tokyo’s Toranomon, beat him unconscious, ripped his pants off and cut off his genitals.
He then waited for police to arrive and confessed to the attack, telling police, “I cut off his genitalia and flushed them down a toilet in the law office.”
The internet is being its usual tactful self about the whole thing, including an amazing animated clip re-enacting the incident.
The lawyer’s injuries are not life-threatening, though his pride will probably never recover.
