Everyone Hates The Fat Jew for Stealing Jokes

Josh Ostrovsky has 5.7 million followers on Instagram, where he posts under the name “The Fat Jewish.”

A lot of the things he posts are image macros, memes or screen grabs that he stole off the internet, often without crediting the creator. He justifies this by saying he’s more of an “aggregator” than a comedian.

 

Legitimate comedians are not happy about this guy. A few weeks ago, comedian Davon Magwood called him out when he reposted a picture of Magwood dressed as a lion. Josh caved and credited him, but he only tends to do this when he gets caught.

 

Things got even more heated when The Hollywood Reporter announced that Josh had signed with CAA and had a pilot in development at Comedy Central. This morning, SplitSider has confirmed with Comedy Central that they aren’t developing anything with Fat Jewish right now – so either THR made a mistake, or Comedy Central changed their minds when they saw how unpopular The Fat Jewish is in the comedy world.
